Most people have heard of StitchFix by now but there are other clothing subscriptions out there for curvy women. We found 9 clothing subscriptions that include plus sizes. Some are true monthly subscriptions while others offer boxes on a one-time basis or an on-demand basis.
Most of the clothing subscriptions work the same way. First, you take a quiz to identify your style, size and price preferences. Then a stylist will select 5-7 items of clothing, shoes and accessories and send them to you.
A styling fee is charged for selecting the items. That fee is applied as a credit toward anything kept from the shipment. You only pay if you send everything back. Keep what you like and send back the rest. The turnaround is quick though, with 3 to 5 days to return the clothes. Most subscriptions offer a discount for keeping all the items. Shipping is free.
Which is the best one for you? It depends on your style, budget and clothing needs. I am inclined to trust the plus-size only boxes and Nordstrom’s Trunk Club the most. Review the Instagram accounts to get a sense of the types of clothes on offer. There are also lots of reviews and unboxing articles out there. My Subscription Addiction has another quick guide plus reviews to look over.
